Hotel Transylvania 4 Could Go Straight To Streaming

Hotel Transylvania 4 Updates: Sony Pictures appears to be considering releasing Hotel Transylvania: Transformania as a streaming film. Drac (Brian Hull, taking over for Adam Sandler) and his numerous monster buddies will be converted into humans in the fourth film in the famous franchise, while Drac’s son-in-law Johnny (Andy Samberg) will be transformed into a monster.
The film was scheduled to debut on July 23, 2021, on the same summer weekend as Hotel Transylvania 3. However, Sony Pictures pushed back the film’s release date to October 1, 2021, after Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaways underperformed at the box office.

Hotel Transylvania 4 Streaming

ScreenRant
According to Deadline, Sony is considering streaming Hotel Transylvania: Transformania rather than the franchise’s regular theatrical release schedule. Sony is reportedly concerned about the film’s box office potential, given that it will be released on the same day as The Addams Family 2.
Netflix looks to be the most probable bidder if Sony Pictures decides to stream Hotel Translyvania: Transformania. The Kevin Hart-led movie Fatherhood, as well as the three most recent Sony Picture Animation, features The Mitchells versus the Machines, Wish Dragon, and Vivo, which have all been sold to Netflix this summer.
All of the films Sony sold to Netflix were originals, while big series films such as Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife remained theatrically exclusive. Hotel Transylvania is one of their most popular properties, so streaming it would be a significant change for the company.
A family may enjoy a movie from the comfort of their own home for less money than they can pay to see it at a theatre. Hotel Transylvania: Transformania already has a built-in fanbase that will want to see it anyway, but it will look odd if the last picture is also the only one not to be shown in theatres.
