Serena Joy Waterford realized June wasn’t conceiving after a while, so she thought Fred was as well. Nick and June had already been having an unlawful fling, which they would have been killed for being detected.
In season four of The Handmaid’s Tale, June (O.T. Bankole) gave birth to her baby Nichole while in hiding after attempting to flee Gilead and safeguard her unborn child.
