Stargirl Season 2 Updates: “Stargirl” is coming to The CW soon with Season 2. It remains more exciting than ever: will you see Sylvester Pemberton alias Starman again or do you have to wait until season 3?
The US broadcaster The CW brings you season 2 of the DC series ” Stargirl ” on TV in August . The JSA is sure to have its hands full again and some of the secrets of the first season are finally being resolved. Fans hope that the cliffhanger around the return of Starman is one of them. But the superhero’s debut could still be a long time coming!

You don’t have to be patient for too long, season 2 of “Stargirl” comes on August 10th, 2021 , as the trailer confirms again. At least the new episodes can then be seen on the US broadcaster The CW.
When Stargirl Season 2 will come to Sky One or Amazon Prime Video in Germany is still in the stars. You could see season 1 about a year after it aired in the US on Sky.

One of the biggest surprises at the end of season 1 was surely the return of Starman, who had actually been declared dead. Series creator Geoff Johns still leaves you in the dark about the return of JSA co-founder Sylvester Pemberton aka Starman. You’ve known that the hero is alive since the end of season 1. But will he return in season 2 or will he only return in season 3?
“That depends on the point of view,” says the executive producer and series creator in an interview with the online magazine TVLine. “I’ve always loved the simmering subplots in the best comics. And the return of Starman, Sylvester Pemberton, is one of them. […] You’ll see him brought into play in Season 2. Glad Checkout flashbacks; we have a particularly cool one with Starman and the rest of the JSA founders. And you’ll see Joel McHale later in the second half of Stargirl Season 2. ”
So will Starman be introduced as a major character in Season 2? Yes! But whether this ultimately means his return or whether his actions are merely retrospective cannot be inferred from Geoff John’s statement. So for the time being you have no choice but to wait for the new episodes.
The Shade and Eclipso will also get involved. After the death of some Injustice Society members, the powerful shadow mage The Shade could become active. The role of Sylvester Pemberton alias Starman is currently unknown.

Stargirl Season 2: cast
Of course, you will see Brec Bassinger (” The Goldbergs “) again this time in her star role as Courtney Whitmore aka Stargirl. The other familiar faces will also be there again.
