Angelina Jolie Updates: Angelina Jolie’s Sydney house, which she used as a private wharf to covertly go to Cockatoo Island to film Unbroken, has been listed for sale. 37 Duke Street, Balmain East, is a light-filled, features-heavy five-bedroom property that might be yours for $11 million.
The Hollywood actress leased the house to utilize its private dock to embark a boat that would whisk her away unnoticed to Cockatoo Island to film her Oscar-nominated picture. Jolie was able to come on-site unnoticed since the property located at the end of a secluded cul-de-sac with only two other houses.
This privacy, according to Marcus Lloyd-Jones of Modern House, was a big drawcard for Jolie and now potential purchasers alike.
