Shang-Chi Trailer Confirms Major Doctor Strange Character Cameo

Shang-Chi Updates: A Doctor Strange magic-user invokes up a surprise appearance in the most recent trailer for Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

The trailer which is full of action-packed uncovers a super-powered combat tournament where the ace martial craftsman Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), the son of the crime master Wenwu (Tony Leung) and the antagonized brother of the fellow contender Xialing (Meng’er Zhang), is supposed to do fight for ownership of the nominal ten rings.

It’s there that Wong (Benedict Wong), who is a Master of the Mystic Arts and also an ally to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), uses his Sling Ring to fight against the Abomination years after the beast’s Harlem hulk out in The Incredible Hulk.

Wong would show up in Shang-Chi when the actor was captured with Liu during production in Australia, which was speculated by Internet sleuths.

Wong made his debut as old bookkeeper Wong in 2016’s Doctor Strange, again helping the sorcerer in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
