Jupiter’s Legacy Season 2 canceled, Josh Duhamel disappointed: he teases a possible film

Jupiter’s Legacy Season 2  Canceled: Jupiter’s Legacy Season 1 was number 1 in the Netflix Top 10 when it was released. But this success was not enough, and the series was canceled after the first season. A cancellation and therefore a non-renewal surprised Josh Duhamel. The interpreter of the superhero Utopian in the show said he was disappointed and gave a rant. He also clarified that there could perhaps be a film to tell the sequel, instead of season 2 which is not planned.

Jupiter’s Legacy was the superhero series, arriving in May 2021 on Netflix. A show with Josh Duhamel (Sheldon Sampson / The Utopian), Leslie Bibb (Grace Sampson / Lady Liberty), Andrew Horton (Brandon Sampson / Paragon), Elena Kampouris (Chloe Sampson), Ben Daniels (Walter Sampson / Brainwave), Mike Wade (Fitz Small), Matt Lanter (George Hutchence / Skyfox) or Tyler Mane (Blackstar). But there will be no season 2 for Jupiter’s Legacy, it has been canceled. Josh Duhamel said he was disappointed with the series’ cancellation and non-renewal, as he told CinemaBlend.

“You know, it’s just disappointing, I’m not going to lie,” admitted Josh Duhamel, who let out a rant. “We all worked really hard on this show, we promoted it and we thought we had made a really good show, and I think with the audience it works really well and continues to work really well,” he added, referring to the fact that upon its release on Netflix, Jupiter’s Legacy was in the Netflix top 10.

Despite the success of the show, it was canceled. Suddenly, all the actors “were a little surprised by the non-renewal of the series” declared Josh Duhamel, not only him. Whoever divorced Fergie is “not sure about the reasoning” but is “grateful for the opportunity to have done so, and I think we all did a really good job on it . ” “This is the way business works, you take your punches,” he added.

Josh Duhamel discusses possible movie instead of season 2

Josh Duhamel revealed that he thought Jupiter’s Legacy wouldn’t have a lot of seasons, just 2 or 3, but didn’t think there would be only one at all: “For me, I don’t. ‘ve never seen it go beyond 2 or 3 seasons because that would have filled the graphic novels that were written for her.

“And this second season was going to be so much fun because it had the makings of this modern-day tragedy where pretty dark things happen to The Utopian,” the actor explained, “And I was creatively excited to do that.  Josh Duhamel is therefore sad not to be able to resume his role of Utopian: “I do not know if we will see him again (Utopian, his character in Jupiter’s Legacy, note) one day. Although it would have been fun to do this Jupiter’s Legacy Season 2.

Even though there won’t be a season 2, Jupiter’s Legacy is set to have a villain’s spin-off and possibly a movie according to Josh Duhamel. “I think they should make a movie, summarizing what would have happened in Jupiter’s Legacy Season 2. Not do the full season, but just a feature film…” he said, “I don’t know whether they’re going to do it or not, but all of these costumes are ready to go. And they weren’t cheap, I can tell you. “
