Black Panther 2 Updates: There is a chance of Namor finally coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but will the underwater king have become an Avenger after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever??
Marvel Studios has been frequently included in a possible Namor and Atlantis Easter eggs during the movies. The movie, Iron Man 2 has featured a likely marking of the Atlantis on the world map, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier has subtly teased the underwater world with the Lumerian Star.
A line in the Avengers: Endgame about the underwater earthquakes has left many of them wondering if it was another reference to the activity of Namor.
It seems that the MCU is on the precipice of properly introducing the Namor and Atlantis. Rumors have also suggested that Namor is the main villain of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The Fans have long hoped that the king of Atlantis would appear and lead a war against Wakanda, and it might be possible to get their wish.
Tenoch Huerta will be reportedly been playing the role of Namor in The movie Black Panther 2 and presumably beyond. Namor has a rich history of comics that has seen him playing the role of hero and villain with his superteams playing a significant part in his adventures.
Namor has some experience as a member of the Avengers in Marvel Comics. He has also been offered a spot on the team back in the year 1965 when the members of the original Avengers roster have stepped away.
Namor has refused this invitation for joining their ranks and has continued to be a hero and antagonist to the various Marvel characters in the years to come. He has eventually joined the Avengers so that the Marvel Studios have the precedence of the comic to follow if they please.
It would not be surprising if the role of Namor in the MCU adheres to the comics where it has taken him a while for becoming an Avenger. This might mean that the Sub-Mariner would not be going to be a part of the team of Avengers 5, but he will surely fight alongside Mightiest Heroes of the Earth down the road when the safety of Atlantis is also drawn into question.
