John Wick 4 Updates: Bill Skarsgard is the latest actor to join the John Wick: Chapter 4 cast, signing on for the action sequel his role in the movie is still a mystery.

John Wick 4 casts Bill Skarsgard in a mystery role. The much-anticipated sequel was planned to come out this summer but was affected due to the coronavirus pandemic.

After which the film is set to have a delayed release in May 2022, John Wick 4 is scheduled to start production this month, with shoots planned in locations as New York and Japan.

Ahead of the photography and direction, director Chad Stahelski has recently spent time filling out a supporting cast around the star Keanu Reeves. And so far he has recruited Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, and Donnie Yen, with Yen said to be playing the role of an old friend of John Wick. This does make things interesting and exciting and it is reported that more names are going to join the cast.

And according to Collider, Skarsgard is the latest to join the John Wick 4 cast, and as in the case with Sawayama and Anderson, the details about the characters are unknown at this moment.

Skarsgard’s skill set in terms of filmography is wide-ranged, from Indie dramas to blockbuster horror films, and action movies, so whatever John Wick demands from him, it is known that he will deliver a strong performance. It will be interesting to see how he fits into the story and where his allegiance lies, with John or more of villain.

With John and Bowery King gearing up to go to war against the Winston and High table, they will need all the help they can get, but upon reflecting on Skarsgard past credits, it is difficult to predict at this point what type of a character he will play as he is a diverse actor and has made a name for himself in doing so. We will have to keep a tab on what more additions are being made to John Wick’s cast prior to its filming.

One of the things is certain that besides Reeves, franchise veteran actors like Laurance Fishburne and Ian McShane will return to their roles, meaning the casts are almost stacked.

John Wick 4 will introduce some new faces to keep things fresh while also striking the balance by continuing with prominent characters who have served well so far for the franchise.
