Published by

The Flash Season 8 Updates: The CW has uncovered that the initial five episodes of The Flash Season 8 will be comprising of team-ups of the Flash and other heroes of the CW-verse in a mini “event” which won’t be a traditional crossover like The CW-stanza has done before.

The CW Chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz said that the thought for The Flash is [showrunner] Eric Wallace and [executive producer Greg Berlanti] have come together, and they are discussing other superheroes from the CW-verse that will meet up in every individual episode. It won’t exactly be a crossover, yet it will have a crossover-type feel with the presentation of each one of these characters.

Pedowitz has not yet uncovered which actors /characters would be showing up, despite the fact that it seems like there are some unmistakable choices out there. He told EW that he will get us with all the conversations with Eric Wallace. We do realize that there two or three feelers out to several of the actors, however, they have no definitives yet.

The CW had started a progression of annual crossovers previously, with Crisis on Infinite Earths in 2019 being its greatest one yet, yet the COVID pandemic forced them to stop any boundless crossover plans because of safety guidelines. Instead, The CW-verse used David Ramsey’s John Diggle as a kind of walking crossover as he went from one show to another.
