Among Us Developer Turns Chicken Nugget Into Impostor In Joke Video

Among Us Updates: Just recently a chicken nugget shaped like an Among Us character, in a McDonald’s meal,  surfaced on all social media garnering a lot of attention. The nugget not only gained popularity but is also priced above $1000 on eBay.

What’s more interesting is that developers of the popular game, Among Us, took to the chicken nugget story too releasing a video on it. The makers celebrated the unique story by making a video on what if the delicious fried piece was a killer on the game.

Launched in 2018, Among Us is a popular online game where a number of players participate as diligent crew members of a spaceship trying to keep it functional. But one of them is a killer trying to get them all. By the looks, be it, impostor or crew members, they are totally alike.

Since gaining so much attention on social media, the similarly shaped chicken nugget is finally sold for a ridiculous $100,000. Even though it was marked as “used”, the sitting fry got tons of bids.

Originally found in a McDonald’s BTS Special meal, the Among Us “nugget” was found by a fan and immediately put up for sale.

The video released by Among Us on Twitter was rather unsettling, as it featured the bizarre-looking nugget being in the killer in the exam same game environment. But wooing fans with such visuals is not uncommon for these developers.

Back in April, Twitter released a ridiculous-looking four-legged crewmate. The developers even threatened to release the character in-game. But later they cleared it to be a joke.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect as the summer season of game updates and news is here. Thus, some publicity like the chicken nugget story could really help the game sales and popularity.

Moreover, the developers are expected to have big news over their 15-player update in the showcase on June 12. The update is set to improve gameplay with more players for their growing fanbase.
