Hilarious Among Us LEGO Set Ripoff Discovered

Among Us LEGO Updates: Recently, a knockoff Among Us LEGO was discovered by a Redditor. This kit includes a yellow crewmate, with another buildable model of one of the many tasks available in-game.

Interestingly, this logo indicates that this set was made by the known LEGO copycat “QSo8”. In the months that have come, the amount of Among Us merchandise has exploded. Much of it is official already.

It includes plushes of the Crewmates to a collector’s edition with a working Emergency Button. In addition to this, a slew of bootlegs has also appeared. Though the unofficial merch is mostly innocuous – for example, prints and keychains are made by fan artists.

This bootleg set was found by a Reddit user LostRedditor42069 at a local store. It is not labeled as “Among Us”, instead the top text read “They Are Among”. This task included appears to be Upload Data. The decorations from the game’s Halloween event are also present.

The smaller text near the task imitates the settings for a game, like the discussion time and the run speed. And without a doubt, the most humorous element comes from the bottom text. “Collect 6 models! Can from a werewolf killing team!”.

This line, however bizarre it may sound, shows us how big the influence of Among Us has been. The format of the game takes heavy inspiration from some of the card games like Mafia or Werewolf, where players are assigned roles randomly, and they must kill another player or find out who the killer is.

This photo that has appeared recently has made a big impact on the fandom. As of the day this blog goes live, there have already been 12.6 upvotes on the post. 200 comments have also been registered. And the majority of the comments are laughing at the ridiculousness of this package.

This kit is far away from the initial first piece of knockoff merchandise that Among Us did get, although it is the first to have gotten such a level of attention. And obviously, it is almost certainly not the last bootleg creation.

While Among Us does not by any means enjoy the same level of popularity as it did in 2020, it clearly has still some clout. And as long as this clout exists, companies like QS08 and other knockoff brands will be there to make use of the title’s success.
