Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown Coming To Arcades In Japan Soon

Virtua Fighter 5 Updates: There has been a new title announced in the Japanese Virtua Fighter x esports project stream. Virtua Fighter would be their newest series title. What this means is that the Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown will be available for not only the PlayStation 4, but also in arcades in Japan.

Virtua Fighter is basically the Japanese title for Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown. This game was revealed in the West on the 25th of May, 2021. Not only that, it would also be available through the PlayStation Plus June 2021 lineup of games, and the PlayStation Now streaming service.

There are a lot of people who are waiting for this game to go live. Virtua Fighter esports will make its way to the Japanese arcades on the 2nd of June, 2021. It would act as a replacement for the old title Virtua Final Showdown.

The former title is so old that it received its last arcade update back in 2011. While it won’t be possible to retain the progress in this new game from the previous one, those who have recorded the play data of Final Showdown will be able to carry over some of the data to the new game.

The stream that unleashed this Virtua Fighter esports was being done by the Japanese streamer, Itabashi Zangief. He is a professional gamer, and is known for using Shun Di to win numerous Virtua Fighter 5 tournaments.

These tournaments also include the EVO 2007 and the Sega Cup Europe. He’s a quite popular streamer, so the news about the new game spread really fast.

While he revealed this epic game, he also announced that there would be more Virtua Fighter tournaments in the future, after the game releases. He might be one of the lucky beta-testers of the game.

The launch of this game isn’t far enough. Make sure you keep an eye on the release date, if you’re quite excited about it. Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, also known in Japan as Virtua Fighter esports, will be available for the PlayStation 4 from 1st of June, 2021. It would be available in Japanese arcades from the 2nd of June, 2021.
