iPhone 13 Updates: There are some details that have leaked regarding the upcoming iPhone 13. The possible battery sizes of all four models have leaked. If you look at it, Apple worsened the battery life on iPhones with their iPhone 12 series, since iPhone 11 series had far better battery life.
But seems that Apple is fixing this issue with the iPhone 13 series. Though the launch is still a few months away, there are already many leaks that have started to come, which have revealed the new smartphone lineup by quite a bit.
The conclusion of all the leaks can be taken as there will be four versions of the iPhone which would arrive this time. The notch size would shrink considerably, there would be a new A15 Bionic chip, and camera upgrades would be there as well. There’s also a lot of anticipation surrounding the iOS 15 software.
And on the software part, there are rumors that there might be some really big changes to the lock screen, upgraded notifications, and additional privacy features.
To increase the longevity of the iPhone series, Apple is planning substantial battery upgrades this year. Noted Leakster @Lovetodream recently shared a leaked screenshot on Twitter highlighting battery capacities for the various models of the iPhone 13 series.
It has been revealed that the mini series will have a 2406 mAh battery, whereas both the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro would feature a 3095 mAh battery. The iPhone 13 Pro Max will have a big 4352 mAh battery.

ScreenRantIt though seems odd for Apple to retain the ‘Mini’ model in the 13 series, since the iPhone 12 Mini didn’t fare well, and Apple stopped its production.
Now if we compare the battery sizes of the iPhone 12 series, there is a considerable upgrade. The 2406 mAh cell off the Mini doesn’t sound too exciting, but when we compare it with the 2227 mAh battery of the iPhone 12, it is a decent upgrade.
The 3095 mAh battery for the 13 and 13 Pro is also a good improvement over the 2815 mAh of the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro. The Pro Max though seems to be getting the most exciting step-up. The 4352 mAh cell on the iPhone 13 Pro Max has 665 mAh more capacity than the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which had a 3687 mAh battery.
This time it is looking as the battery life is going to improve by quite a bit. The new A15 chip will be more energy-efficient, which would further improve the battery stats.
But we know that there may be higher refresh rate displays in the series, and the phones would have 5G for sure. Both of these features drain the battery. It would be a task for Apple to improve the battery life. We’ll have to see how it all goes. But for now, the devices really look promising on the battery life.
