The Persistence Enhanced: Sci-Fi Horror Shooter Trailer Released

Firesprite managing director Graeme Ankers said in a press release, “Really excited to debut The Persistence on next-generation hardware, bringing improvements that intensify the immersive stealth horror for both existing players and newcomers alike.”

The current version of the game is already present on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For all the players already owning the current version, a complete upgrade free of cost will be provided.

The original game’s story features a doomed deep space colony starship in the year 2521. Overrun with scary and murdering monsters, the players must survive on this death ship. They have to explore, evade and fight their way through the ship and bring it back to Earth.

Now that The Persistence Enhanced is set to release on June 4th, a gameplay trailer has also been uploaded on YouTube by Gematsu. The video shows the improved outlooks, deeper graphics and quality texture updates in the new version. It will be a welcome present for current players of the game as well as an attractive option for other gamers.

The subtle changes in the game’s visuals, lightings and textures are more evidently visible in the Gematsu ‘s video comparing the original game and enhanced version side by side. It will be interesting to how better the gameplay really feels when gamers get their hands on The Persistence Enhanced.
