PLOT of The Witcher Season 2
The story is set on a fictional landmass known as “The Continent”. The first season introduces Geralt of Rivia, Crown Princess Ciri, and the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg as the core characters. Geralt of Rivia is a monster hunter who struggles to find his place in a world where people prove to be more wicked and harmful than monsters and beasts.

UPCOMING SEASON
Netflix renewed The Witcher for the second season even before airing the first season. Netflix co-CEO and Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos confirmed in April 2020 that The Witcher Season 2 will arrive in Q4 of 2021, which means it may release between October and December 2021. A final release date has not yet been mentioned and there is no official trailer.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for the new season. Filming was delayed due to the pandemic and a foot injury that Cavill suffered but now the filming has been wrapped. However, post-production takes quite some time so the show is not returning in June.
Netflix released the list of shows and movies arriving in June 2021 but The Witcher was not on the list. Fans will have to wait a little longer before they can witness the new episodes. There is a high chance that the second season may release in December 2021 just like the release of the first season.
