Guardians Of Galaxy At Square Enix: One of the major leaks has revealed that Square Enix, publisher of Marvel’s Avengers game, is working on a Guardians of Galaxy Video game.
A recent leak has suggested that a Guardian of the Galaxy video game is being developed and worked on by Square Enix, Marvel’s team of cosmic superheroes were mostly unknown but they rose to the limelight after their appearances on James Gunn’s The Guardian of Galaxy back in 2014. Now the Guardians of Galaxy are one of the most known and celebrates heroes in Marvel’s comic world and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films as well as video games such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.
Guardians of Galaxy is not the first project undertaken by Square Enix, with the publisher releasing Marvel’s Avengers in September 2020. The multipliers superhero game was developed by Crystal Dynamics but was not received well upon its release notably due to technical issues and lack of meaningful gameplay. Even the latest event titled Red Room Takeover has been receiving negative feedback due to a lack of rewards for participating in the event.
Guardians Of Galaxy In Works At Square Enix
An alleged leak, detailed by the Youtuber Jeff Grubb’s Game Mess, suggests that Square Enix is developing a Guardians of Galaxy video game. In what followed up a video, the creator explained that the upcoming superhero project had been rumored in past, but he can now confirm that game is surely in the works. Jeff Grubb also made a point that the Guardians of Galaxy title will not represent e3 2021.
The fans and critics have largely remained on a shared opinion of Marvel’s Avenger being a mediocre game, only certain aspects of the game have received praise. The game’s campaign, a single-player story that focuses on young superhero Kamala Khan, was showered with praise by many players for its originality and real depiction of the comics. Each Avenger was given a chance to shine and focus on Kamala Khan allowed viewers to see the superhero world through her eyes.
There were several cosmetics items added to the game and were received well until the players requested cinematic outfits such as those suited by hero’s in Avengers Endgame, that too was made available to players over last week and the outfits yet again were not received well by the players. Therefore Square Enix’s handling of Marvel Avengers is surely going to make fans nervous and skeptical about how the Guardian of Galaxy will be treated otherwise.
