Before the next season of American Horror Story was announced in 2018, when FX officially renewed the show for its tenth installment, the show had already aired nine terrifying seasons. The world of American Horror Story is expanding in terrifying new directions, and the first of these is right around the corner.
American Horror Story Season 10 Expected Release Date
AHS Season 10 is expected to release somewhere in August, but it is not going to be the final season. AHS Double Feature is expected to consist of ten episodes. So, assuming each episode will be released weekly until Halloween weekend 2021, it can be estimated that the premiere date for American Horror Story season 10 will be around the end of August 2021.
Ryan Murphy has already spoken about the franchise’s new spin-off series, ‘American Horror Stories.’ The new show will be a weekly adventure series with each episode focusing on a different story. Landgraf also revealed that the tenth season of American Horror Story will premiere on Hulu the day after the final episode of the spin-off series airs on FX.
Season 10 Cast Details
Ryan Murphy has disclosed which cast members will be coming back in Double Feature in an Instagram post, much to the delight of fans of the franchise. Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, and Lily Rabe will make a comeback. AHS Double Feature will also feature Finn Wittrock, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman, and Angelica Ross.
Macaulay Culkin, the ‘Home Alone star, has also been cast in the 10th season which is arguable and shocking. However, Emmy Award-winning actress Jessica Lange has left the show, much to everyone’s astonishment. Her rumored comeback to the series has sparked a lot of anticipation, especially after her major role as Constance Langdon in Season 8.
Season 10 Plot Updates
A glimpse of Murphy’s upcoming AHS season has been released in a teaser video. The title of the episode, Double Feature, appears to connect to the fact that the tenth season of American Horror Story will feature “two frightening stories,” “one by the sea, one by the sand.”
