Yasuke Season 2 Updates: Yasuke is an anime series based on a historical figure of the same name. He is a warrior of African descent who had served under Japanese daimyo Oda Nobunaga during the Sengoku period of samurai conflict in 16th century Japan.
The series is created by LeSean Thomas and animated by Japanese animation studio MAPPA. The director and animator of Yasuke is Takeshi Koike. The story transcends borders, cultures, and languages. It blends history with a fictional story.
Black Samurai, which is voiced by LaKeith Stanfield. He is on a journey of redemption. Yasuke protects a young girl Saki from Daimyo who wants to kill her so as to use her godlike powers. In his way, Yasuke alliances with Morisuke who is a soldier, and his colleagues. With their help, he’s able to defeat the witch.
Season 1 of the series ends in harmony and Yasuke Season 2 is expected to focus on a new adventure.

“He came from Africa and fought alongside a mighty feudal lord in brutal 16th century Japan. They called him the Black Samurai, and he became a legend.”
Season 1 of the series came on Netflix on 29 April 2021. There is a total of 6 episodes of 30 minutes each. Yasuke is available to stream around the world on Netflix.
The show currently hasn’t been renewed for Yasuke Season 2 by Netflix. And, the fans are eagerly waiting to see another season.
Creator of the series Thomas while speaking to Comicbook.com gave fans hope. He said, “I can’t say too much, but the response has been really great and it would be great to become more than what it is. He further added, “Obviously, it would be great to have a big splash and then keep things going”.
The first season has surely been a hit. The series if gets renewed, then the second season is likely to come by the Spring of 2022.
