Is Yasuke Season 2 on the Cards for Netflix?

Yasuke Season 2 Updates: The first season of Yasuke, created by LeSean Thomas, has been released by Netflix and is receiving a good response from the audiences as it tells about the heroic story of Jpan’s first black Samurai. Yasuke’s first six episodes have been tidy to show the conclusion, making the fans doubtful about the possibility of another season.

The series is led by an Oscar-Nominated actor, Lakeith Stanfield, who voices the role of Yasuke. The story is based on the 16th Century Japan, where Yasuke plays the role of boatsman. While he was sailing, Yasuke met a girl with supernatural abilities, Saki, who is then targeted by a group of priests with supernatural powers. He also fights The Daimyo, the leader of the Dark Army.

Yasuke Season 2 Renewal Updates

There is no official announcement on the renewal of the series currently. It is too early to predict because the creator, LaSean Thomas, is very optimistic for the second season. He said that the first season has received a decent response which could lead to another season but for the time being, there are no such thoughts.

The creator and the producers could think over the next season because it has been a popular series as fans reacted. If allowed by Netflix, they will surely work upon the concept, which could a happy moment for all the fans. The first season saw Yasuke fights against The Daimyo(Amy Hill), led by his long-time rival, The Dark General akaMitshuhide(Noshir Dalal). Yasuke’s first three episodes built the character of Abraham(Dan Donahue) as the main villain but the story has become more action-packed with the addition of The Daimyo. The Daimyo wants to fully possess the supernatural powers from Saki, Yasuke’s a companion. Both the characters of Ishikawa and Nikita ended with their passing off, which made Saki more desperate and with her powers, kills The Daimyo. Yasuke Season 1 ends with harmony, which indicates that season 2 will have a new storyline with different adventures and thrills, mostly from the past incidents.
