When would we get The Umbrella Academy Season 3?

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 Updates: With a heavy heart, we inform you, that The Umbrella Academy is no more. And while The Umbrella Academy season 3 isn’t coming out on Netflix this May (not like we expected it to anyway), we still have The Sparrow Academy to look forward to.

The Umbrella Academy has changed to The Sparrow Academy. And with one of the siblings gone, we hope there’s still a long way to go for the remaining six. Even though they managed to jump back to the present, they realized that they had caused a lot of changes, that too for the worse.

The Sparrow Academy, which sees Ben alive and still in charge, is the siblings’ new home. However, a lot of questions still linger about whether the siblings would ever be able to go back home or not.

For the time being, it seems all we can do is speculate since Season 3 is not a part of Netflix’s official May listings.

When will we get The Umbrella Academy season 3?

The third season of the Netflix Original has only just begun with the shooting. And with the coronavirus pandemic and accompanying restrictions, days have been shorter and filming has been quite slow-paced. Each episode takes quite some time to get through.

We expect a wait for the third installment at least till the end of this year.

Netflix also recently announced a list of shows that would be arriving this year, such as The Witcher season 2 and You season 3. While the list was not too extensive, it did not mention season three for The Umbrella Academy either, even though the filming has already begun.

It seems that the wait for the third season would be a rather long one.
