Outriders: 3.5 Unique Million Players joined in its First Month

The publisher of the game named Square Enix said that Outriders garnered 3.5 million unique players in its first month and had an average of 30 hours of playtime per player, which is a huge engagement. With the new DLC in the production, it can be said that players will continue to return to the game as developer People Can Fly keeps fixing the glitches. Jon Brooke the Co-Head of Studio at Square Enix External Studios  had to say positive things about the game’s launch and showed a positive outcome for the future:

“Launching a new game IP is difficult and we remain very thankful for the support we got from the community we will continue to listen with all our senses in play and want to make sure that everyone that we will be committed to enhancing the experience in the coming weeks and months”. He also had to say that they had planned a bright future for the game

Even though the game is a success, Outriders is full of bugs and glitches since launch. People Can Fly has been good at fixing them all, but some glitches like the inventory wipe glitch had permanently affected some players’ saves and are yet to be fixed.

The game itself has been received well by fans and critics despite the glitches and bugs. It may not be in a position to compete with big games but surely has made a name for itself in space and the game is soon to be full of contents.
