Trying Season 2 on Apple TV: When does Jason and Nikki coming?

Trying Season 2 Updates: Apple TV+ is back with another season of the British comedy-drama Trying. The show premiered last year in May and had a total of 8 episodes. Produced by BBC Studios, the show has an IMDb rating of 7.6/10 and an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Trying follows a loved-up couple Jason and Nikki as they desperately try for a baby. On realizing that conception is highly unlikely, the two decide to adopt a child. The show tickles the funny bone as their friends and relatives get in the way of them trying to convince the adoption panel that they can raise a baby and unintentionally hinder the process.

Trying Season 2: Release date

The second installment of the show will premiere on Apple TV+ globally on the 21st of May this year, almost a year after the first season aired and right on time.

Similar to the pilot season, this season too will have a total of 8 episodes. The show will premiere with the first two episodes followed by the other six releasing every Friday.

Season 2: Cast

The latest outing will see Rafe Spall and Esther Smith back as the much-loved couple Jason and Nikki. Joining them are Oliver Chris as Freddy and Ophelia Lovibond as Erica, the two best friends of the couple who add all the spice to the show. The show also stars Imelda Staunton as their delightfully eccentric social worker Penny.

The show is written, created and executive produced by Andy Wolton (known for The Coopers vs the Rest). Jim O’Hanlon (known for Marvel’s The Punisher) acts as the director and executive producer as well. Josh Cole (Treehouse Masters) also serves as the executive producer along with Sam Pinnel (Derry Girls) and Tim Mannion (Sex Education) as the co-producers.
