Love Death and Robots Volume 2 Updates: Love, Death and Robots is an American adult animated anthology streaming television series created by Tim Miller with Joshua Donen, David Fincher, Jennifer Miller and Tim Miller himself as executive producers.
The first season of the show was released on March 15,2019 which is a re-imagination of Fincher and Miller’s long in-developement reboot of the 1981 animated science fiction film Heavy Metal.
The series stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Gary Cole, Chris Parnell, Christine Adams, Josh Brener, Jill Talley and many more known faces. The series was renewed for an eight episode second season in June, 2019 which is set to be released by May 14,2021.
The series has been a great success as it has been able to win the hearts of the viewers and has also been able to rank itself in the top shows on Netflix.
The series has released only one season until now having 18 episodes with each of them running for about 17 minutes. The second season of the show is scheduled to be released on May 14,2021 for which the viewers are filled with enthusiasm.
The animated show has all it’s episodes running for a maximum time of 17 minutes. All the episodes are Stand-alone and none of them have any connections with the previous episodes. The title of series mainly refers to each episode’s connection with the three subjects in the title.
As announced on the official social media account of the show, the second season of the show will have a total of 8 episodes, with each of them telling a different story. However, it isn’t specified yet as to how long each episode will be in season 2.
Speaking to the media, Miller stated, “We all thought the stories would come in a lot of different ways. We thought some would be director pitches, some would be things that we sought out from creators we liked and some would be existing short stories. ”
Netflix recently released the trailer for the second season of the show earlier this week, this giving the fans a short view of the episodes yet to be released.
