‘True Detective’ Season 4 Updates: All thriller enthusiasts have at least once heard about “True Detective”, written and created by Nic Pizzolato. The series was broadcasted on HBO in 2014, with an overwhelming reception and high ratings on HBO along with many award nominations. The second season and third season followed in 2015 and 2019. There was a major drop back in the viewership in the last season that aired.
The Plot of ‘True Detective’ Season 4
The plotline of “True Detective” is a little different with all seasons having a self-contained narrative with each season premiering with a different cast and plot.
Recently the news has been going around about the HBO executive renewing the show for another season despite not having very encouraging ratings for the last two seasons. The executives have been talking to writers to see what could be added to the storylines apart from the viewpoint of Nic Pizzolato which is to imply that Nic Pizzolato would probably not be working and making season 4 of his very groundbreaking show.
But if looked at the rumors closely there is still no confirmation about anything. There is talk going on about airing another season but no conclusion has been reached at this point. On being asked about season 4 of the show over Instagram, Nic Pizzolato said that he will always have an executive producer credit over the show since he created it, but he would not be participating actively in the show now.
Will we able to watch ‘True Detective’ Season 4?
Anyway, Pizzalato is currently working with FX on his new show “ Redeemer” about a corrupt priest, but reports say that this show is not doing so well and he is looking for a way out.
Well, we hope, whatever happens, ends up giving us an adventurous thriller at the end of it.
