Selena: The Series Part 2 is coming to Netflix May 4, 2021

Selena: The Series Part 2 Updates: Selena: The Series is an biographical American television show based on the life of very famous Tejano singer, Selena Quintanilla; showing her rise to fame, her love life along with the obstacles and hurdle she and her family had to face to reach the position of fame.

The main lead in the show is being played by Christian Serratos, who in the pompous dresses and flair looks exactly like Selena making it hard to not reconnect her with the once very popular and beloved music sensation.

As the show’s second season release date is getting closer, fans have been asking around about whether the show will focus on her murder and death and the trauma building up to that moment, which was answered by Natasha Perez, who is playing the role of Yolanda Saldivar, the woman who actually killed Selena.

Perez talked to Entertainment Daily and said that the show is about celebrating Selena and her life. Despite Saldivar adding tension to the life and show of Selena, in the end the show is about the beautiful legacy that Selena has left behind.

The second season will be released on May 4th, which would focus on her love life as well as the hardships that she and her entire Quintanilla family has to endure to sit back and watch Selena rise to the fame to become the most famous female Latina artist of all times.

Critics did not appreciate the show excessively but the viewership of over 25 million spoke for itself and could not stop the show from airing again.
