For All Mankind Season 3 Updates: For All Mankind is a Apple TV+ alternative history series which revolves around the consequences that could have happened if the Soviets had beat the United States to moon.

Season 2 begins in 1983, a decade after where Season 1 left. The operations at NASA now are majorly controlled by Washington politics and the Department of Defense. There’s an increasing threat of nuclear war. The show also has some historically correct data.

The season’s backdrop leaps into alternative reality just like the season 1. This is expected to continue even in Season 3 as well.

The finale of season 2 of For All Mankind ended up in mostly conflicts which were set up for the next season i.e. season 3, in one of the scene we can see a “cosmonaut” stepping on Mars.

The series creator Ronald D. Morre and his co-show runners Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi have thought out the series storyline for at least 7 seasons.

The whereabouts of the plot and cast is still unknown. Each season will differ from each other in terms of the time in which it will be set. There will atleast be a difference of a decade between each season.

Release Date Of For All Mankind Season 3

Although an official release date hasn’t been confirmed yet but the season is expected to come out in December 2021 or early 2022. The filming of the series began in February 2021.

The cast which has been confirmed is Jack Kinnaman, Shantel Van Saten and Krys Marshall. Many more faces are expected to be seen in this season.

The season 3 will focus on Mars and the missions would be different from that of the actual Mars exploration of 1990’s. The series time jumps to the 90’s which raises a doubt that will Aleida, Danny and Kelly still be the central characters for this season as they’ll also age.

It would be interesting to see how the young cast is shown to age into a whole new decade. There could be possibility for another storyline like Will Margo choose to work up for the soviets or Will Ed and Karen end up divorced. There are many questions in the minds of the viewers which will be answered in Season 4.
