Raymund expressed her delight at the prospect of starring in her first cable drama to Deadline. “As much as I enjoy network television, I’ve never had the opportunity to stretch myself by doing cable television, and I come from a theatrical family, so I enjoy stories with a lot of layers.

This was an opportunity for me to mess up my work and push myself because I like it messy and gritty, and I don’t like cleanliness when it comes to storytelling,” she said. “It’s pretty cool for me to be able to play the lead, especially as a queer Latina woman.”

“With its dynamic, edgy storytelling, multicultural cast, and female leadership both in front of and behind the camera, Rebecca, Gary, and Jerry delivered an elevated and well-executed drama that embodies all the hallmarks of a Starz premium series,” said Christina Davis, president of original programming.

“Audiences are already deeply invested in these flawed and complex characters, and we will continue to The audience are more curious and excited to watch this series with high expectation. There is no doubt this series will not disappoint the audience. For more updates stay tuned.
