Netflix orders Angry Birds: Summer Madness animated series

Angry Birds: Summer Madness Updates: The most successful Rovio Entertainment’s Angry Birds franchise is all set to move to Netflix, with a subscription channel offering a series of orders for the animated series Angry Birds: Summer Madness from Rovio and Cake.

The next version of the video game series will take its inspiration from Sony’s The Angry Birds Movie and The Angry Birds Movie 2, although with a modern look. The official series summary, via Deadline, reads as follows:

“The 40 x 11-minute episode series sees the favorite birds Red, Bomb, and Chuck, and also the band of manufacturer fringed friends, as twelve birds in the summer camp under the dubious supervision of their advisor Mighty Eagle.

Explosive antics, unlikely pranks, and wild summertime experiences see birds pushing borders and bending all the rules as they fight off the brash and obnoxious Pigs on the other side of the pool, who are hell-bent on making as much chaos as possible!”
