Fantastic Beasts 3 Updates: Mads Mikkelsen reveals a new model template as Johnny Depp’s Gellert Grindelwald’s sequel to Fantastic Beasts 3.

Now that Johnny Depp has quit his role as Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3 after his continuing legal disputes with Amber Heard, Mads Mikkelsen will be the one to take up the role of the evil wizard in the forthcoming Wizard World movie.

New work by visual artist ‘axel pic on Instagram shows Mads Mikkelsen wielding the Elder Wand for his forthcoming fights against Albus Dumbledore and Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts 3.

It’s not sure if the plot can handle the shift in the actors, but because this is the Wizard Universe, there will be a lot of simple ways to turn Grindelwald.

Mads Mikkelsen has previously admired Johnny Depp’s performance in the role that followed his departure, and it will be fascinating to see if the actor gives his own take on the villain rather than impersonating Depp.

Mads Mikkelsen formally succeeds Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3. The audience was waiting to watch this series with more expectations and curiosity.

At the end of the first film, the powerful dark magician Gellert Grindelwald was caught by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America) with the aid of Newt Scamander.

Yet, making good on his threat, Grindelwald fled custody and set out to collect supporters, most unaware of his true agenda: to raise wizards and witches to reign over all non-magical creatures. The audience was waiting to watch this series with more expectations and curiosity.

Driven by David Yates in a script written by J. K. Rowling, the second movie stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Jude Law, and Johnny Depp.

Fantastic Beasts 3 is officially scheduled for release on July 15, 2022.
