No Time to Die Release Date Moves to October 2021

No Time to Die Update: The last James Bond film by Daniel Craig, No Time To Die, has been officially postponed once again and will now be released in theatres in October 2021. The final James Bond film by Daniel Craig has been postponed again, with the film now expected to hit theatres in October 2021.

With the release of Casino Royale, Craig took over the role of 007 in 2006 and reprised the role in three sequels as the elite spy. Sometime after the release of Spectre, he announced that he would return to the role again, and a long director quest eventually brought Cary Joji Fukunaga on board to helm No Time To Die.

No Time to Die: Brief Description:-

There was plenty of anticipation for the film’s release going into 2020 as the culmination of the Craig period of James Bond films. By April, the movie was scheduled to be in theatres and was considered to be one of the year’s biggest releases.

The coronavirus pandemic, however, forced the studios to wait No Time To Die several times until settling on a release date of April 2021. While there was hope that when the movie was released, this would finally be the case, the pandemic again forced another delay.

No Time to Die

The official Twitter account of James Bond today reported the news that No Time To Die has been postponed to October 2021. April 2, 2021, was the most recent release date, but now MGM and Eon have agreed to delay the release again. The latest release date of No Time To Die is October 8, 2021.

This marks the fourth move to No Time To Die’s release date, and the third delay caused by the pandemic. While most believed that by now the world will be closer to normal and make the release of April 2021 a safe time to put the movie in theatres, that unfortunately is not the world’s reality.

This current pause came on the heels of news noting that it would actually delay No Longer To Die again. The final Craig Bond film is the latest blockbuster to move out of the summer 2021 season, and it will certainly not be the last at this point.

The repeated delays are the product of the studios wanting to ensure that the film has the potential to be a box office hit, as frustrating as it is that the release of No Time To Die is only another six months away. There have been many claims that hundreds of millions of dollars have been sold by streaming platforms such as Apple and Netflix to purchase No Time To Die and release it digitally.

However, unless anyone is prepared to pay about $600 million for it, the studios have so far shown no interest in this option. Since the latest prediction is that vaccines will be widely distributed sometime before October, this is probably the last delay received by No Time To Die.
