Chris Rock Stares at Spiral in New Image from ‘Spiral: From the Book of Saw’

Spiral Updates: I can’t tell you how happy I am to be back playing a game! Spiral: The last new chapter in a book of Save, horror-thriller mythology based on Jigsaw Killer and his desire to probe morality- and prove torture traps in the smoking Saws franchise (Tobin Bell, who doesn’t tell me straight if He were in Spiral appears to be an intriguingly distinctive initiative in the franchise, especially in view of the leading artistic and output presence of Chris Rock.

The film’s new direction was spoken to Empire by producer Darren Lynne Bousman, who also produced Saws II-IV, who said that we wanted it to sound something like Seven. Seven. Yet it has so many similarities to the Saw myth.

I think it a good return to the basic solution to what the original Saw made, given the fact that David Fincher’s classic neo-noir horror-thriller was already very much like the original Saw.

Bousman also announced that less about gore and more about suspense would be the purview of the script, dunking in the process on his own work: “I was a younger guy.

The gimmick, I guess, was Blood and brutality. Gore is no longer a gimmick and brutal, it merely serves the plot. This is about character, suspense, and anxiety even more.”

Spiral: And how specifically is Rock involved in the new film?

Chris came in with a thriller premise, according to Bousman, essentially so: “He pitched this really elaborate, dense proposal.

And while the broad strokes of what we know about the story so far, Rock as a detective obsessed with a newly involved serial killer who seems to be motivated by Jigsaw, the path for a serial killer mystery looks pretty par, which could be precisely the grounded base truth to justify why the franchise wants.”

Spiral: The Book of Saw is set for publication on May 21, 2021. Have a look at the latest picture below.
