RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13: Live Stream, Time, Date, Channel

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 Updates: RuPaul’s Drag Race season 13 made its grand premiere on January 1, 2021! There could be no better way to welcome the New Year! And what is more?

The debut has some of the wildest twists ever! Since the entire season has been filmed under COVID-induced health protocols, the whole set-up looks different. On the other hand, the shake-up in the format during the premiere itself sends the queens into a state of shock

Here’s a quick synopsis of episode one as reported by PennLive:

In the erstwhile episode, the fans already have some insight about each of the queen who, for the sake of their lives, had to lip-sync. Six of them became Mother Ru’s winners.

The remaining seven got “The Pork Chop”. “Porkchop” actually is a phrase that came into existence due to the elimination of the first queen to be “chopped” from the series in the first season.

The second episode unfolds the event where seven Pork Chop queens had to vote and call for the unfortunate elimination of one of their own. Elliott with 2 T’s and Utica Queen tied with the lowest number of votes.

The queens, therefore, had to once again vote and break the tie between them. As and when the results were declared, Elliott with 2 T’s was sent packing.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13

The first and second episodes of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” concluded with shocking non-eliminations that showed the queens that RuPaul Charles ain’t playing around this season–she is ready to stress them out, wear them out and do everything she can to make them turn it out.

By the end of the premiere, the set of 13 queens were divided into two groups based on the first impression lip-syncs a Winner’s Circle and the girls they beat, the Pork Chop Queens.

Last week the winner’s group faced off in three runway walks and a group performance of Ru’s song “Congratulations.” Olivia Lux and Symone faced off in a “lip-sync for the win” as the top two with Symone edging out to grab the first solo win of the season.

This week it was expected that the losing group would return to the Werk Room for their chance to do the same, albeit to a different song.
