9-1-1 Season 4 Update: After its banging third season, Fox Broadcasting Company’s show 9-1-1 was renewed for a fourth season. The show, which follows the lives and the work of essential service employees such as police officers, paramedics, firefighters, and dispatchers. It was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and the four-time Emmy nominated producer and screenplay writer Tim Minear. The three of them have previously worked together on the show American Horror Story.
The show has an amazing cast who do an exceptional job at portraying all the hardships and difficulties faced by essential care workers. The amazing actors on the show include people like Angela Bassett, who can be seen in the American Horror story and Black Panther, the British actor Oliver Stark, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Peter Krause, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Ryan Guzman, etc.
9-1-1 Season 4: Update
Season 4 of the show had a terrifying start. In it, we see that the city of Los Angeles is hit with one disaster after another. They have microquakes, mass-flooding, a car crash in the higher floor of a building, and then to top it all, a mudslide.
The first episode of season 4 ends at a cliffhanger where we see Athena played by Angela Bassett, trapped in a house along with a woman. When the mudslide happens, the house collapsed and Athena was in it. Apart from this, the residents of Los Angeles saw the letters of the iconic “HOLLYWOOD” sign were also destroyed.
The fourth season premiered on 18 January and the next episode is scheduled to be aired coming Monday, that is, 25 January. It was nominated for the Teen Choice Award for Choice Breakout TV Show in 2018.
It will be interesting to see how the show manages to get Athena out of mortal danger. This high in drama tv show is for those who want to have a behind the scenes look into the lives of those who work for our collective safety every day.
