The franchise is pivotal to Young war hero Angus `Mac’ MacGyver, a man of genius to dig out unconventional problem solutions and a rich repository of scientific knowledge.

He acknowledges using it wisely to safeguard humankind, both of which come in handy as he mounted a surreptitious organization within the United States government to tackle global missions that involve high stakes.

Working under the sponsorship of the Department of External Affairs, MacGyver forestalls calamities with the help of former CIA agent Jack Dalton, without letting a word out in the open.

The last premiere, which is the fifth episode per the records did leave things perplexed.

In the opening minutes, it was revealed that Jack Dalton was dead. There was a military funeral for the character, the Team Phoenix crew paying him tributes and almost every person on the show had a connection to him except for Russ Taylor.

The show quickly derailed from the funeral to the mourning — and then straight over to the pizza parlor, a place that makes for a relic of emotional significance for Riley and Jack.

It was after this scene, though, that a scene was created, one that was planted preceding Jack’s death, and one that caused for entire Phoenix Foundation to conceive their own version of justice. This was open to a lot of questions spiraling around as to who was involved in Jack’s demise.

Further embroiling it was when revealed that Kovack may not be a real person at all. Instead, Kovack was more of a marionette for Anya Vitez, a dangerous criminal in dire need of money. She’s also responsible for what happened to Jack.

Setting off with Riley and Mac in a driveaway in Jack’s old GTO, the questions as to who killed Jack Dalton remains to be up in the air.

Stay tuned in to learn about the latest details.
