The Conjuring 3 Updates: The upcoming project entitled to be the third installment of The Conjuring franchise on the supernatural horror genre. It had its inception back in 2013 and succeeding it was The Conjuring 2 in 2016 which is the overall eighth installment in the Conjuring universe production ward.

Co-produced by Wan and Peter Safran, the film is based on the real-life murder trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson in 1981, Connecticut, and the tribunal goes by the name of this third chapter Devil Made Me Do It. Directed by Michael Chaves, with a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and a story by Johnson-McGoldrick and James Wan, they have recorded commercial success on earlier theatrical releases, and this run to is set to hit the theatres.

The Conjuring 3 Premise

It unleashes a story with an undertone of terror, murder, and unknown evil; all blended in that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators and exorcists Ed and Lorraine Warren.  Murder suspect on trial would claim demonic possession as a defense, as per the column by Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema dictates and this is not in compliance with the earlier haunted house setting.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It was originally scheduled for rolling in the United States on September 11, 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic dealt a blow on its release which was put off till June 4, 2021. The film is also stated to have a month-long simultaneous release on the HBO Max streaming service starting on that date which caused a stir as arising uncertainty in cutting down the net box-office collections.

On the front that it is a big-banner film but on a comparatively lower budget, this could potentially foreshadow a permanent change in how major film distribution works going forward but the prospect of digital streaming is suited in times of the pandemic.

Horror isn’t really a genre that requires theater trappings to be effective and though it might not rake in loads yet it is not to be overlooked.
