WandaVision Season 1 Episode Count May Have Been Confirmed

Published by

WandaVision Season 1 Updates: A Disney partner website with the Disney+ show running for 8 weeks may have announced WandaVision’s episode count for season one.

The episode count may eventually have been announced for WandaVision season one. It was intended as the second Marvel Cinematic Universe exclusive display for Disney+ when Marvel Studios unveiled WandaVision in 2019.

Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, however, will now appear in the first MCU Disney+ series as Step 4 kicks off with WandaVision. For most of their films, Marvel Studios is typically tight-lipped, but under a fresh veil of confidentiality, WandaVision has been veiled.

Not much information about the actual storyline of the show has been presented by the WandaVision previews, with the attention shifting to the various sitcoms it emulates and poses more questions.

WandaVision has been described as a six-hour occurrence during the entire process, which will be half-sitcom, half-MCU spectacular. This meant that the show will be six episodes long and run six weeks, most viewers thought, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

WandaVision Season 1: About a Post on Disney Latino:

A Disney Latino post (via Murphy’s Multiverse) states that on March 5, 2021, WandaVision will end its first run of the season. Marvel has previously announced that on January 15, 2021, the show will be released on Disney+.

Eight weeks later, this completion date for WandaVision will reveal that season one would be at least eight episodes long. This detail is not reported on the main Disney website, so this WandaVision news can be taken for the time being with a grain of salt.

It would be interesting to see how the episode lengths actually change as the series goes on, with WandaVision currently planned to be at least eight episodes long.

For early episodes, the sitcom strategy could mean that such episodes would only be half an hour long. If there were half an hour of episodes in the first four weeks, the final four weeks may each be an hour long.

That method will hold WandaVision to six hours of video, but distributed in somewhat different formats apart from eight weeks. Hopefully, Marvel and Disney will announce exactly as many episodes as we can expect before too long, with WandaVision’s release quickly approaching.
