Gwen Stefani Shares the most important thing about her grand wedding with Blake Shelton.

Gwen Stefani: The American singer and songwriter Gwen Stefani is planning for her dream wedding with fiance Blake Shelton and recently she has revealed the one must thing she wanted in her wedding.

Stefani doesn’t want to do the ceremony in the absence of her beloved parents, Dennis and Patti Stefani. She wants to tie the knot with Blake Shelton in their presence and they can be there to witness the couple’s nuptials.

On On Air With Ryan Seacrest on December 7, she opened up about the plans of her wedding amidst the COVID 19 global pandemic. When asked by the host, “In a post-pandemic world, would you prefer a smaller ceremony or a larger wedding?”, she replied, “I would say I just want my parents there at this point.”

She said that her family presence is her topmost priority. She continued, “My parents wouldn’t come to Thanksgiving because they were so scared (about the COVID-19 pandemic), so really would rather it not be a COVID situation and  I would rather not have masks and that kind of thing.”

Gwen shared her opinion that how even if they invite only family members and not their friends, the list will still exceed the number of people allowed as per the COVID19 safety protocols. “Even when you cut it down to family, it’s too many people for COVID and so we’re sort of going to see what happens in the next few months,” she said.

Apart from her parents, Gwen has three siblings, two brothers Todd and Eric, and a sister Jill. The family also consists of her niece, Stella(Todd’s daughter), her three children(from her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale), sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. From Blake’s side, he has a brother Richie and a sister Endy along with his parents Dorothy and Richard Shelton.

Unfortunately, there won’t be any sigh of relief regarding gatherings due to COVID19 anytime soon. The sudden surge in hospitalizations and deaths has led to the banning of family gatherings and outings in California. Though Gwen seems to be in no mood to tie the knots with masks, Americans have to continue wearing masks for the foreseeable future keeping the current trend in COVID19 spread.

On October 27, 2020, Blake took to his Twitter to announce his engagement with Gwen after dating each other for almost 5 years. He wrote in the caption,  Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.

I love you. I heard YES!” Now the plan is simple, to see how things evolve with this pandemic time and wait for the perfect time for their dream wedding.
