When will City on a Hill Season 2 Return on Showtime?

City on a Hill Season 2: The first season had a tied ending which left the audience to ponder upon the element of the second edition. The one-hour first episode of the series was a dull start to the show, but it gained fame across its later episodes where the storyline was disclosed.

The show is based on a corrupt FBI Agent, Jackie Rohr played by Kevin Bacon, who warily team up with ADA DeCourcy Ward to curb the crime rate in Boston during the ’90s.

ADA; the Assistant District Attorney DeCourcy Ward is played by Aldis Hodge who arrives from Brooklyn. She is paired against the Corrupt Veteran FBI Agent Jackie Rohr, imitated by Kevin Bacon. They together take down a group of armored car thieves from Charlestown.

The drama directed and penned by Chuck Maclean; well known for his riveting screenplay. The team of executive directors made of Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jennifer Todd, James Mangold, and Michael Cuesta.

Where We Left Off?

 Mark O’Brien portrays Jimmy who’s betrayal costs the family a huge loss.  The epilogue sees the Ryan Brothers in police custody after the messed theft in Fall River. 

Later, Frankie Ryan played by Jonathan Tucker realizes Jimmy created the rat hole. And so he appoints a lawyer against Jimmy. And Jimmy plays against Frankie’s mind and accepts Kinicki’s murder in the court.  This affirmation grants Jimmy blanket immunity. Nevertheless, Aldis still tries to lure out Rohr’s dark secrets from the culprit. 

Meanwhile, Rohr patches up with Jenny and also tries to get in good books of Ward by transferring Ryan’s case to Suffolk County.

When Will City on a Hill Season 2 Release?

Ideally, it expected to release this year. But COVID-19 has curbed it all.  The production house has declared to release the season in the coming probably in June.

The show is based on Kevin Bacon, a crooked FBI official, Jackie Rohr, who partnered with ADA DeCourcy Ward to curtail the crime rate in Boston in the 1990s.

ADA; DeCourcy Ward, Assistant District Attorney, played by the Brooklynian Aldis Hodge. The FBI agent Jackie Rohr, imitated by Kevin Bacon, has been matched against it. A party of the blinded auto thieves from Charlestown brought down together.

Chuck Maclean, renowned for his riveting script, is directing and producing the drama. Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Jennifer Todd, James Mangold, and Michael Cuesta make up the Executive Directors Board.
