Blood and Water Season 2: Blood and Water is a South African series that premiered on May 20, 2020, on the Netflix streaming site. The recent Netflix show gained a lot of eyeballs and fans are highly anticipating season 2.

In June 2020, Netflix officially announced the renewal of the show for a second season and the principal filming for the upcoming season has been started on October 13, 2020, in Cape Town, SA.

The show received a hugely positive response and ratings from the viewers and critics too. That’s the basic reason behind the renewal of the show.

Season 1 includes 6 episodes and the series is directed by Travis Taute, Byrne Joshua, and Nosipho Dumisa.

The primary story of the series revolves around Puleng, a high school girl, and her sister Phumelele who was kidnapped by a human trafficking network after her birth.

Do we have a trailer or release date for the upcoming season?

Sadly, there is no official announcement of the release date for season 2. Also, no trailer has been dropped yet it will be too early keeping the delay in the filming process due to the pandemic in mind. The trailer will be released closer to the release date.
