HBO to release two bonus episodes of Euphoria prior to the release of season 2

The American teen drama television series ‘Euphoria’ has been renewed for a second season but before releasing the second season, HBO announced two bonus episodes which will be the connecting link between the two seasons.

The series is created by Sam Levinson. It is based on the Israeli miniseries of the name ‘Euphoria’. Currently, the series is one of the most popular series. HBO has also announced the release date for the new episodes and fans are eagerly waiting for the arrival of the new episodes. Read on to know more about the same.

Euphoria Season 2 New Episodes: Release Dates

As per the announcement of HBO, the first bonus episode will arrive on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 9 PM and the episode is titled as ‘Trouble Don’t Last Always‘. The release date for second episode is yet to be announced.

The series basically revolves around the lives of a group of high school students and their experiences of sex, drugs, friendships, love, identity and trauma.

The series stars Zendaya(Rue Bennett), a recovering teenage drug addict who is struggling hard to find her place in the world. Other important cast members include Maude Apatow(Lexi Howard), Angus Cloud(Fezco), Eric Dane(Cal Jacobs), Alexa Demie(Maddy Perez), Jacob Elordi(Nate Jacobs) and Barbie Ferreira(Kat Hernandez).

The 8 episode first season was premiered on HBO on 16 June 2019 and the series was renewed in July 2019. Though everything has been delayed due to global pandemic COVID-19.

The main lead Zendaya, took to her Instagram to confirm her’s and co-star Hunter Schafer’s appearance in the bones episodes.

Reportedly four new cast members will be introduced in the new episodes. Darian, Ray, Ami and Serena will be the names of the new characters in the new episodes.

The season 1 was a big hit with positive response from both audience and critics. It was nominated for the British Academy Television Award for Best International Program, and the TCA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Drama category. Also, Zendaya won the Primetime Emmy Award and Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her stellar performance in the series.
