Fans and lovers of South Korean shows are happy to know that Love Alarm is been renewed for Season 2. This was confirmed in October this year. We are also happy as revival after one season is uncommon for the majority of the South Korean series.
However, we do not need to worry about the show as it would surely be released in the coming future. The production of the show was adversely affected by the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic as we have learned that there has been a huge delay. Because of the pandemic, the entertainment industry has suffered huge financial losses. Maximum of the entertainment projects were put to a halt and postponed for an indefinite time.
Reports suggest that the showrunners are not in a hurry to start the filming of the show’s Season 2 as the world is badly fighting against the deadly coronavirus. But as South Korea’s situation is currently under very much control, we can expect its release around next year.
Its been learned that Season 2 of Love Alarm will focus on mainly the three characters – Kim Jo-jo, Hwang Sun-oh, and Lee Hye-yeong. Both Hwang Sun-oh and lee Hye-Yeong have been friends since their childhood. Both of them enroll themselves in a program called the love Alarm meaning in quest of love. Both of them along with a woman named Kim Jo-jo join it and the boys fall in love with her thus there is a rift.
The production of the show has not yet started. Only after they start the production, we will provide some hints on its release date. The cast Kim So-Hyun, Lee Hye-yeong, and Song Kang were pictured together for an occasion.
