Bridgerton Season 1 Updates: After so much of a delay, at last, the much-awaited Netflix Original Series is set to release super soon. Bridgerton, a classic period-drama, is an adaption of a novel by Julia Quinn.

The series is created by Chris Van Dusen, Shonda Rhimes is the producer. The deal was signed way back in 2017.

What is the Release date of Bridgerton Season 1?

As per reports, Bridgerton is set to release on a very special day. Season 1 is to release on Netflix on Christmas i.e. 25th December 2020.

What does the cast comprise of?

There are some really big and interesting names that will be working on this project. Most of the cast for the first season of Bridgerton was announced way back in 2019 itself.

Julie Andrews will feature as the character of Lady Whistledown and is one of the main protagonists of the show. It also has Regé-Jean Page, who will be portraying the character of Duke of Hastings.

Apart from them, Pheobe Dynevor will portray Daphne Bridgerton and Ruth Gemmell’s features as Lady Violet Bridgerton. Also, Nicola Coughlan, the recent internet sensation and the one who got the fame and limelight because of the Netflix Original Derry Girls will portray the character of Penelope Featheringon. It’s learned that four directors are involved in season one and they will direct two episodes each, thus comprising eight episodes in total. The directors are- Sheree Folkson, Alrick Riley, Julie Anne Robinson, and Tom Verica.

Can we expect a second season of Bridgerton Season 1 on Netflix?
