Riverdale Season 5 is only a few months away from us and its maker Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has posted a poster of the upcoming Season on Twitter, The poster is showing the rise of dead from the Sweetwater River. So will the Dead be back in Season 5?

In the Season 5 Poster of Riverdale, Showmaker Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has hinted about the return of dead characters as the hand is coming out from the Sweetwater River. as the characters will be seen after a seven-year time jump so the fans are quite excited about the upcoming season of the show.

What could be the plot of Season 5?

As Season 4 of the Show had left many unanswered questions among the fans, as the show was stopped due to the COVIV-19 pandemic like the shows of Netflix, So these questions will be answered in Riverdale Season 5.
The plot of Season 5 will be based on a 7-year time jump after Season 4, So the past characters’ college years may be skipped or fast forward in the first few episodes of Season 5, Few parts of Season 4 may also be included in Season 5.

The 7-year jump was revealed by Bety Cooper in an interview:

The fans may expect Archie’s gang to develop a strong relationship personally and may see various other changes among the characters.

When will It Released?

Netflix has given a Release Date for Riverdale Season 5 which is January 20, 2021. Means on New Year we will get our favorite and one of the most-watched Netflix Series. Riverdale will be available on CW and Netflix at the same time, So all the fans of Riverdale can watch it online on Netflix or on CW.

Who will return in Season 5?

As the Characters will grow older in Riverdale Season 5 due to the 7-year jump, We are not clear who will return and who will not. Few of our favorite characters will not be removed as they will grow together.

Marisol Nichols (Hermione) has said to Entertainment Tonight “I would say what I can tease is that it’s true about life. When you’re a teenager, relationships are very complicated and they get sometimes too serious and you’re not sure if you like this one or you like that one. Well, that follows you along as you grow up and it doesn’t necessarily get easier and we will see that with Veronica,” she had added, “Let’s just say I’m on that same page and I think I’ll leave it there.”
