Published by

Heroes of Lucha Updates: If the great struggle for Lucha libre wrestling is what you wish for this holiday season, the content creators of the Crackle Plus streaming service, have something to send (drive) to your plate at the right time for Thanksgiving.

On November 25, Crackle will launch the Heroes of Lucha Libre, an original Mexican series featuring stars such as Le My Mysterio Jr., Mil Mascaras, Tinieblas Jr., Alushe, Drag Lee, and the Blue Demon.

The 11-part series offers the Lucha cultural tradition to unleash a modern spin in honor of the play while introducing a comedy story to the show.

“I grew up watching these heroes with my grandfather in Mexico,” producer Alejandro Ortiz said in a statement.

Producer Joaquin Vodanovich added: “Lucha’s culture of freedom has been with us for more than a century and we want to honor that heritage in the right way.”

Fans of Lucha libre wrestling were quick to comment when Crackle recently made an announcement about his new show. “Lucha Libre’s heroes… seem to depend on Lucha Underground – it’s like relying on the narrative and heroic stories of Lucha liberation, and it’s also like the Infinity War-style story that reaches the end of Ladoores vs. Trump?”

Crackle Plus has announced their new series “Heroes of Lucha Libre”.

The original 11-part series will premiere on Wednesday, November 25. It will feature Lucha actors Rey Mysterio Jr., Tinieblas Jr., Alushe, Dragon Lee, Blue Demon, and WWE Hall of Famer Mil Mascaras.
