The Prom: Ryan Murphy talks about how perfect `The Prom` was?

The Prom Updates: After watching a theatre “ The Prom” at The Longacre Theatre in the month of January of the previous year which is 2019, Ryan Murphy knew at once that he would want to make a Netflix film titled the same.

Getting permission for making the show ,the planning, gathering of all cast and crew etc. was done in no time. The film was planned to begin it’s shooting by early December.

Murphy, being a six time Emmy winner has made the movie beautifully after watching the Broadway show.

While talking about the prom in an interview, when asked why did he choose to direct The Prom, Murphy gave a simple answer that the movie held so much love and taught it’s audience tolerance that we all can agree is much needed in this world.

When asked how he relates to The Prom’s message, he said that the way that this movie brings a possibility of a hopeful future where none of the kids feel lonely or secluded from the community is touching.

He also talked about how the song `Wear Your Crown` being the original song fitted into the movie perfectly with the optimism and joy it carries along it. Murphy talked about how Meryl’s rap would make all of her fans happy and she was amazing in her work.

Meryl and Murphy are going to collect fund for Broadway who seems to be in pain right now and try to help them as Broadway has always been important to Murphy. Murphy also added that how a lot of talented actors of Broadway are not acting right now and a little actors fund could do a lot for them.

The Prom: Who will be seen in the movie?

Some of the main cast members of the musical comedy The Prom include:

Joe Ellen Pellman will be seen playing Emma, Nicole Kidman as Angie Dickinson, Meryl Streep as Dee Dee Allen , Ariana DeBose as Alyssa.
