MacGyver’ Season 5 Updates: MacGyver is back for season 5 to take the fans for another thrilling journey. Exclaiming codex to be a threat still, exec producer Monica Macer of the wicked organization articulated that operative Angus MacGyver (Lucas Till) coupled with the clandestine government agency,  Phoenix Foundation tried their level best to prevent the last season from happening.

Season 5 will begin by showing that Codex kidnaps Phoenix owner Russ Taylor (Henry Ian Cusick). Astonishingly, he abets the crime solely for the swapping of prisoners.

Thus the scenario turns up that, executioner Murdoc (David Dastmalchian), detained by Phoenix, so as to get hold of the acquisition of Taylor.

We also witness several other villains appearing on the board gradually. This also takes into account the very deceitful persons. One of such includes the treacherous rival  Elliot Mason (Peter Weller). He was a great aid in many ways.

Not to forget he is the one who would help the team for a change and diversion. Macer says, that he enjoys and loves playing the gray area.

The screen is going to light up the romance of agent Desi Nguyen (Levy Tran) and brainy hacker Riley Davis (Tristin Mays).

According to Macer, “With Desi, there’s a natural chemistry,” Macer says. “Yet there is this lingering feeling between Mac and Riley because they’ve been such good friends [for so long].”
