Image Source: MeawwAn intimate dance tour, this will follow an academy of young dancers as they warm up before taking it to the stage for Allen’s annual ballet rendition. “It’s Christmas eve and Johnson’s are throwing a party where young Kara is gifted a Nutcracker filled hot chocolate which comes alive into Three wise cracking mice as the narrators: Harvey, Schmink, and Buckey who are the minions incarnate from N.Y.C and goes by the name’ The Real Rat Pack’ and they go backpacking around the world; Candy Cane Land, Egypt, Jazzland, the Land of the Kimono Dolls, etc..
Debbie Allen is an entertainer by all means; an actress, dancer, choreographer, director, producer but this premiere cuts down the spotlight only to how she winged her dance career along with her full-fledged dance institution.
However there has been no word on the cast but it is presumed that from the last year’s Allen’s production might be back including Raven Symone (from ‘Raven’s Home ‘), Carlo Imperato ( from ‘FAME’), and cameos from Allen herself, Jennifer Lewis ( from ‘Black-ish), Nigel Lythgoe ( from ‘ So you think you can dance ‘) and will feature original scores form music composer Mariah Carey and a whole new approach to dance choreography.
