But Maria Martha stepbrother had a doubt about Carlos and so he decided to investigate the case again.  During the investigation, it was noted that she had five gunshot wounds in her head and no one had noticed.

This was a shocking discovery by investigators. Finally, the murder was discovered that was a planned murder by Carlos. The entire series continues in an interesting manner.
