Virgin River Season 2 Updates: Your wait has been proved quite fruitful. The demand for the renewal of the Virgin River has been affirmed by Netflix. Adapted from the novel, Virgin River by Robyn Carr, the series became a blockbuster as soon as it hit the screen for the first time in December 2019.

Netflix has given a green signal for the release of the second season of the Virgin River. Though the release date has not been revealed yet we can expect to catch a sight of it quite soon. Consisting of 10 episodes, this season would be from the Harlequin book series and would be very much similar to the first season.

We were quite happy to learn about the renewal of the second season of the Virgin River. This news just crawled in 2 weeks post-release of the first season. Centering around  Melinda Monroe, it displays her story. Reply to an ad of a nurse practitioner in remote California, she came to this town of Virgin River.

Virgin River Season 2: Updates

Initially, she was quite optimistic about her being able to adapt to the ways of the town. It was only later that the things were not as easy as she had thought them to be. Pragmatically, she also acknowledged that to live in this new town, she first needs to heal herself.

Viewers and fans are waiting with bated breath to see whether Mel, would be able to get over her past positively and get in tune with her present. Whether she would become bold enough to move on with Jack for a new future awaiting her. In season 2 we will also be witnessing a few Marines who served with him, Preacher, and Brady will make a halt by  Virgin River.

Apart from the regular faces, we have seen on season one, do get ready to catch some of the new faces for this new season. Grayson Gurnsey as Ricky and Ben Hollingsworth as Brady are two among the new cast members who would be spotted in the new season.

According to What’s on Netflix’s predictions, the season 2 will be out by this Christmas. However, the filming happened in Vancouver in Canada despite being set in rural California. The series was not affected by the pandemic, since it was filmed in the remote areas.

The series do not have a release date yet, so let’s just give it some more patience. Till then let’s just binge-watch our favorite series.
