Sherlock Holmes 3 is scheduled to release in December next year. The fans are highly anticipating as they have the official release date now. The second season of Sherlock Holmes titled Sherlock Holmes: A game of shadows was premiered in December 2011 and since then the audience is looking forward to the third season.
According to the filmmaker Dexter Fletcher, the team is giving initiatives to make Season 3 of the film distinct from the other two parts in all terms. The third part will bring back the lead actors. Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. They will be seen replaying their roles as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson.
Their pair is likely to make an appearance in the 3 part. Their pair in the second season gained enormous affection and support from the audience. The film made a business of over USD 186.8 million in North America and USD 357 million in other territories with a worldwide total of USD 543.4 million and is listed as the 12th highest-grossing movie of 2011 release.
Apart from lead actors Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, we can see other stars like Jared Harris, Stephan Fry, Noomi Rapace, Rachel McAdams, Kelly Reilly, and Eddie Marsan.

We got media recently disclosing that the studio was planning to sign a contract with actor Micheal Fassbender to play notorious rival of Sherlock Holmes, Sebastian Moran. Though there is no official announcement regarding Paul Anderson to bid adieu to the show.
Noomi Rapace will also make a comeback as the character of Madam Simza, also we could see Jarred Harris returning back to the show after faking his death in the previous entry.
